TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1:

1. Pickup from Airport/Hotel

2. Travel to Nanay & Boat Ride

• Travel to Nanay, followed by a scenic boat ride along the Amazon River, where you’ll take in the lush surroundings and spot the occasional wildlife as you glide through the water.

3. Visit Fundo Pedrito (Wildlife Sightings)

• After the boat ride, visit Fundo Pedrito, a prime wildlife spotting area where you’ll see caimans, capybaras, exotic birds, turtles, and more in their natural habitat.

4. Visit Zoológico El Encanto (Monkey Feeding & Animal Rehab)

• Explore Zoológico El Encanto, where you’ll feed monkeys and learn about animal rehabilitation efforts that help protect the Amazon’s wildlife.

5. Rum Tasting & Stroll Through San Juan Village

• Enjoy a traditional rum tasting, followed by a relaxing stroll through San Juan Village. Experience the local culture and interact with the villagers as you learn about their way of life.

6. Boat Ride on Yanayacu River to Lodge

• After the village visit, take a boat ride along the Yanayacu River, making your way to your lodge while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding jungle.

7. Lunch

• Enjoy a traditional Amazonian lunch, savoring local flavors and fresh ingredients as you relax and reflect on your day.

8. Visit Giant Ceiba Tree (Largest Tree in the Amazon)

• Marvel at the towering Ceiba tree, one of the largest and most majestic trees in the Amazon. Learn about its spiritual significance and role in the rainforest ecosystem.

9. Dinner & Optional Night Hike/Boat Ride

• After a delicious dinner, enjoy an optional night hike or boat ride. Explore the jungle at night, discovering nocturnal wildlife and experiencing the rainforest under the stars.

10. Overnight at Lodge

• Rest and rejuvenate at the lodge, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the Amazon rainforest.
